The New Salem Lincoln League is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving a special place known as Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site. For over 30 years, the League has funded educational, cultural and special events at the historic New Salem Village.
The League also supports volunteer programs and initiatives to help promote and preserve this reconstructed village which for six years in the 1830s played an important role in transforming young Abraham Lincoln from unskilled laborer to lawyer and eventually to the nation’s most revered statesman.
Donations made on this website go directly to the New Salem Lincoln League, a registered 501(c)3 organization for use at Lincoln’s New Salem State Historic Site. All funds donated here are administered by the not-for-profit NSLL.
